Food Data Extractor is a Chrome extension for authorised restaurant partners. While you are signed in to your own Zomato Partner or Swiggy Partner dashboard, it helps you select available reports and records, choose a date range and save structured CSV or JSON files to your device.

One controlled export workflow
The extension works inside supported partner-dashboard pages. It uses the active signed-in session to request only the modules selected by the authorised user, normalises the available responses and saves the resulting files through Chrome Downloads.

What problem does it solve?
A restaurant owner may need different partner-dashboard areas to answer one question. Sales can be shown in an order report, campaign performance elsewhere, deductions in finance records, tax details in invoices and the final cash movement in a settlement. Copying this information manually is slow and makes it easy to omit a date range, duplicate rows or lose the link back to an order.
Food Data Extractor does not decide whether a fee is correct or a campaign is profitable. It creates organised source files so the owner, analyst or accountant can perform those checks with a visible evidence trail.

What can restaurant partners export?
Support is intentionally platform-specific. A feature available for Zomato is not described as available for Swiggy unless the current extension and the authorised account both expose it.

“Available” matters. Partner platforms may change fields, report windows or endpoints. Missing or rejected sections are reported rather than filled with invented data. Menu exports are current snapshots; a selected historical date range does not turn a current menu into historical menu data.
How to extract your data

Install the extension
Install Partner Data Exporter from the Chrome Web Store. Chrome 111 or later is required by the current package.

Sign in through the official partner website
Open your own Zomato Partner online-ordering dashboard or Swiggy Partner food dashboard and sign in there normally. Do not enter platform credentials into the extension.

Choose the matching platform
Open the extension and select Zomato or Swiggy. Platform preferences and outlet identities remain separate.

Enter the authorised outlet ID and dates
Provide the numeric Restaurant or Partner ID and a valid From and To date. Large ranges may take longer, especially when exact order items must be collected.

Select only the records you need
Choose the available order, report, menu, rating, advertising, settlement, finance or invoice modules shown for that platform and plan.

Choose CSV, JSON or both
CSV is convenient for spreadsheets. JSON preserves nested structures for technical analysis. When several files are produced, the extension can package the local outputs into a ZIP archive.

Confirm authorisation and keep the tab open
Confirm that you are authorised to export the outlet. Start the job and keep the supported partner tab open until the progress message reports completion or a specific unavailable section.

Imagine an authorised outlet wants to understand why ₹3,60,000 of reported restaurant sales did not equal the amount received in the bank. The owner exports the selected month’s available orders, settlement breakup, finance records, invoices and current menu, then keeps those raw files unchanged.

The extension supplies organised platform evidence; it does not know the restaurant’s ingredient invoices, staff cost, rent, complete tax position or signed commercial interpretation. Those must be added by the authorised business.
What the extension does not do
- It does not request or store the partner’s Zomato or Swiggy password.
- It does not bypass platform access controls or unlock another outlet.
- It does not promise identical modules on both platforms.
- It does not claim individual Swiggy review text or Swiggy advertising reports.
- It does not calculate statutory accounts or give tax advice.
- It does not guarantee that every platform field will remain available.
- It does not send raw restaurant exports to the licensing service.
- It does not become affiliated with a platform because its name describes compatibility.
Where does the restaurant’s data go?
The export content is processed in the supported partner page and saved to the user’s device through Chrome Downloads. Raw exports, partner cookies, partner tokens and unmasked restaurant records are not sent to the licensing service. The licensing service receives only limited information needed to validate the plan and enforce usage—such as a random installation identifier, selected platform and modules, date-range length, a platform-scoped outlet fingerprint and usage counters.
The extension requests Chrome storage and download capabilities plus access to the specific supported Zomato, Swiggy and licensing-service hosts declared in its manifest. It does not request broad access to every website. Read the complete privacy policy and acceptable-use terms before using it.
Who publishes the project?
The website and extension are independently published by Anurag Pandey in Lucknow, India. Questions, corrections and support requests can be sent to anuragpandey5957@gmail.com. The project was created to reduce the manual work involved in tracing restaurant orders, deductions, invoices, settlements and menu data across many records.
The editorial policy explains sourcing, illustrative examples, corrections and commercial independence. The project may earn revenue from extension subscriptions and advertising on eligible public pages. Advertising does not determine formulas, guide conclusions or support responses.
Frequently asked questions
Is Food Data Extractor connected to Zomato and Swiggy?
It is compatible with specific signed-in Zomato Partner and Swiggy Partner pages. It is an independent extension, not an official integration, endorsement or partnership.
Do I give the extension my platform password?
No. Sign in on the official partner website. The extension uses the browser session already authorised for that tab and does not ask for the platform password.
Can it extract another restaurant’s data?
No legitimate use allows that. The user must be authorised for the outlet and confirm that authorisation before an export. The extension is scoped to information returned to the currently signed-in account.
Why are Zomato and Swiggy exports different?
The partner platforms expose different dashboard data and may change it independently. The extension reports the platform-specific modules it actually supports instead of fabricating parity.
Does it analyse profit automatically?
The extension organises available platform records. Profit analysis still needs the restaurant’s own recipe, packaging, payroll, rent and other cost evidence. Use the website guides and free tools as educational starting points.
Where are the exported files saved?
Chrome saves extension-generated files through its Downloads system, normally inside a “Partner Data Exporter” folder under the browser’s configured download location.
